Batman: Streets of Gotham #16 is an issue of the series Batman: Streets of Gotham (Volume 1) with a cover date of November, 2010.

Synopsis for "The House of Hush, Chapter One"

Hush has been using his remaining influence as “Bruce Wayne” to convince the parole board to release supervillains such as Tweedledum and Tweedledee, Humpty Dumpty, and Lock-Up from Arkham Asylum, but he fails to convince them to release Jane Doe, who is intrigued by Bruce Wayne's interest in her.

Judson Pierce explains his vendetta against Bruce Wayne to Little Italy and Mr. ZZZ: About two or three years before Bruce's birth, he attempted to bribe his late business partner's daughter Martha Kane into abandoning the Thompkins Clinic so he could develop the property, but she refused and accepted the bribe as a donation to the clinic. Pierce put out a hit on her with Little Italy's uncle Sallie Guzzo.

Hush attends the Gotham Media Awards with Zatanna Zatara, who was also Bruce's childhood friend. They see a news report about a riot at Arkham Asylum masterminded by Jane Doe, and Zatanna goes to assist Batman and Robin while Alfred drives Hush home; however, on their way, the car is t-boned. Alfred is knocked unconscious, and when Hush escapes the car, he is confronted by a gun-wielding Pierce who believes he is Bruce Wayne.

Synopsis for "Two-Face: The Long Way Down, Part Three"

Harvey Dent has been brought to a halfway house run by a priest, Father Tom, who nurses him back to health. When Harvey is recovered, he tells Father Tom about what happened to him, and he suggests that with the loss of his coin, Harvey will not be forced to do bad things anymore. Harvey disagrees. He kills Father Tom and the addicts, and he burns down the halfway house. His coin was what forced him to do good things half the time, and without it, Gotham doesn't have a chance to survive.
