Mammoth is a super-villain with great strength and diminutive intellect. He is a member of the H.I.V.E. Five.

History

Mammoth, along with Jinx and Gizmo, were students at H.I.V.E. Academy, a school for up and coming teenage supervillains, where they graduated at the top of their class for their year. They were contracted to work for the mysterious supervillain Slade, who invited them to show their prowess by defeating the Teen Titans as their "final exam". Mammoth and his peers managed to beat the Titans in combat twice, first by knocking out their leader Robin in a sneak attack and again by taking their headquarters Titans Tower. However, the heroes regrouped and beat the villains out of their home, embarrassing the H.I.V.E. graduates in their first mission.

Powers and Abilities

Powers

• Unique Physiology: Mammoth was genetically enhanced, giving him both immense strength and endurance.
  • Superhuman Strength: Mammoth is incredibly strong, being able to lift an elephant over his head with relative ease.
  • Superhuman Digestion: Like Cyborg, Mammoth possesses a perpetual appetite and can consume mass quantities of food (fresh or spoiled) with no ill effect. He once ate all of the food in the Titans refrigerator despite the fact that it was all covered with blue mold.
  • Superhuman Durability: Complimenting his size and strength, Mammoth is extremely hearty and can withstand great extremes in pressure without tiring.

• This version of the character is exclusive to the continuity of the television series Teen Titans, the animated shorts that continued the series, and its tie-in comic book series Teen Titans Go!. It is an adaptation of Mammoth. The original character was created by Marv Wolfman and George Pérez and first appeared in New Teen Titans #3.
• Mammoth was voiced by Kevin Michael Richardson.
