- Youth Group ist eine Indie-Rock-Band aus Australien, die Ende der 1990er Jahre gegründet wurde. Die Band wird häufig mit der amerikanischen Gruppe Death Cab for Cutie verglichen. Ähnlich wie bei dieser steigerte sich auch die Bekanntheit von Youth Group durch die mehrmalige Verwendung von Liedern in der Teenieserie O. C., California, darunter ein Cover des Alphaville-Songs Forever Young. Die Gruppe bestand ursprünglich aus den Schulfreunden Danny Allen, Paul Murphy, Toby Martin und Andy Cassell. Mittlerweile gehört neben den verbliebenen Gründungsmitgliedern Allen und Martin der Gitarrist Cameron Emerson-Elliott und der ehemalige Vines-Bassist Patrick Matthews zur Band. (de)

- Youth Group is an Australian rock band based in Newtown, New South Wales. Built around the vocals of singer Toby Martin and production of Wayne Connolly, the sound of Youth Group is reminiscent of indie rock artists such as Teenage Fanclub, Pavement and Death Cab for Cutie. The band formed in Sydney in the late 1990s and has released four albums, three of which have gained worldwide release. They achieved major success in 2006 when their cover of Alphaville's "Forever Young", which had been recorded for the soundtrack of the US TV drama The O.C., was released as a single and reached No. 1 in Australia, attaining platinum status.
