The holiday rush is just around the corner, and buyers will be looking to make confident purchasing decisions for friends and family. This surge in interest means a flurry of questions for sellers, which can be overwhelming during the busy gifting season. To make things easier, we’re excited to introduce Q&A – an upcoming feature on the eBay app on iOS and Android.
With this feature, you can now add item-specific Q&A directly from your conversations with buyers, with the information visible only on the relevant listing. Plus, any custom questions you have added in your account settings will now be displayed across all of your listings.
By showcasing these common questions and answers right on your item pages, you’ll help to reduce the number of inquiries you receive, saving you time in responding to each buyer. Additionally, you’ll increase buyer trust by providing essential information and expertise up front, supporting a swift and confident purchase decision.
Act now: Pre-answer frequently asked questions
We recommend that you add common questions to your Contact Seller page now, so they appear across all of your listings when the feature goes live. See today’s seller news announcement to find out how.
Your feedback is appreciated, so don't hesitate to share your thoughts once you've had a chance to use Q&A. Our product team will do their best to answer your questions weekly. As always, thank you for selling on eBay.

I would never do this automatically. Some buyers try to make offers, etc. or make criticisms so they can get it cheaper, etc.

Yes- and the where is my package?!!!!

That would require that customers (not buyers, because they haven;t bought anything yet) find the listing page, which, according to the new traffic page, ceased happening on November 4th.
Stop breaking all the things that were working and sticking us with new fixes that don't help.

What exactly is required to prep our listings?

From what I see in the original post I would say they are referring to this:
'Act now: Pre-answer frequently asked questions

They also say this right after that quote above:
'Your feedback is appreciated, so don't hesitate to share your thoughts once you've had a chance to use Q&A. Our product team will do their best to answer your questions weekly. As always, thank you for selling on eBay. '
It has been over two weeks since that was first posted. Has the product team posted any answers to questions yet? Just wondering. If someone can post a link please do - thanks.

As a buyer my most common questions are "What are the dimensions?" and "Can I see a picture of the other side?" or "Can I see and end view please?" Etc..
I've noticed alot of sellers post several pictures without anything for scale (On items where that might matter) or a bunch of pictures of the same view of the item(s).
When I do see different views sometimes it seems as if an end view on one of multiple items seems hard to find. I usually don't even bother looking further if the sellers seems to be hiding something, whether they are or not. Sometimes the pictures are blurry and that will send me on my way fast.
Clear pictures of all sides and measurements or something in the picture for scale (When applicable) go a long way with me as a buyer if dimensions aren't in the print part of the listing.
I've learned the hard way not to assume the item(s) are in the same condition the pictures show if they don't show complete and clear views of all applicable angles. The same with scale.
I think sellers will get alot fewer questions if they keep in mind that buyers like myself don't want to learn a hard lesson more than once.
Thanks for your time and thanks to sellers that do provide the information I have noted.
