I came across this post in eBay's "Payments" board -- originally posted just two days ago, Friday, June 26, 2022.
Kind of fine print in my screen shot -- it says, "We recently created a new video to help sellers better understand selling fees on eBay. Check it out here."
There are just so-o-o-o-o many posts (today alone!) complaining about the eBay final value fees. I don't know -- maybe this eBay conversation should have been added to the Selling board also?
To find conversations in the Payments board, go back up to the top of this page. See where it says "Buying and Selling" with a kind-of-arrow pointing down? Click that down-pointing arrow. The fourth item down in that drop-down list is Payments. Click on the word Payments.
The post is from eBay, so it will be at the top, above all other posts concerning "Payments."
If I'm overstepping any boundaries or drifting out of my lane, I apologize in advance. I just think this might help people understand and save them time and headaches.
