Can't find Local Pickup ? Here's how to add it

I have seen some users state that they could not find "Local Pickup" as an option in their listing.

1 - Go to the Shipping part of your listing

2 - Click on "see shipping options"

3 - Scroll down choices and click the Local Pickup Button

      A lot of sellers miss things on the listing form: free shipping, handling charge, posting fees........... They just need to take more time and read closely until they get used to the form and hope that eBay doesn't move anything.

I agree with you that people need to check out everything closely but sometimes they just can't find what they are looking for - especially the newbies. I think eBay tries to keep the listing form as clean as they can - to not have it cluttered so as to make it easier for people to list.

Doesn’t give me that option at all. Just gives me FedEx as a shipping choice. After that, just international rates under more options.

I also cannot find it in the drop down. The closest says "First Class $7.00 Local pickup Free" Makes no sense and Ive been an Ebayer for years but never needed to choose( or try to) this option.

You may be  looking at the wrong drop down. You have to first enable local pickup so that it is on your listing page.  To the right of the domestic shipping section you will see two horizontal arrows with 'see shipping option'. Click on that and turn on local pickup.  Once that is turned on you will see the option below the shipping section. Click that button to on and it will show up on your listing.

I'm having a very hard time finding the local pickup option as well. It's not offering it at all on this "new seller hub" page. When I go back to the old setting, it won't let me select "local pickup"; even when I put in the mailing dimensions. Has anyone had any luck?

Oh wow, okay, so I contacted customer service and they told me the local pickup is not visible due to not opting out of the business format on the seller main page. I hope that makes sense?

No I'm not really sure what they are referring to. There are different ways to start a listing and different listing pages so you might be seeing something different than I am. 

If you click on view listings under your name in this forum, click on one of your listings and then on revise which on the top left.  If you scroll down to where you have your shipping information listed do you not see the local pickup option?

Literally no "see shipping options" anywhere
