It’s early Monday morning. They might not even be out of bed yet, let alone have time to arrange for pickup.
If your buyer chose local pickup, they, or their agent, will have to give you the eBay WR code that the buyer received. Do not let that item leave your property without that code. That code is how you prove to eBay that the buyer received the item.
You are lucky the didn’t want it shipped. The listing quoted less than $30 to ship to California.
