I lead teams delivering high-impact, award-winning journalism at global news organisations. I’m currently an Executive MBA candidate at Trinity College Dublin.
As CNN’s Senior Director, EMEA, I led a team of digital news journalists and editors located across Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Reporting to the SVP of Global News, I directed all journalism produced for and published on CNN’s digital platforms from the EMEA as well as global news and events. In addition to editorially and operationally directing the EMEA digital team, I also had oversight of CNN’s multi-platform global gender reporting team (As Equals), which introduced philanthropic funding to CNN.
Before joining CNN, I established and opened Mashable’s first UK bureau, hiring a broad editorial team while directing UK coverage and global breaking news output in overnight US hours. Prior to relocating to London, I worked in Ireland and the US for start-ups, scale-ups and large public service organisations.
