Thomas Murphree
Thomas Alexander Murphree (1883-1945) was a federal judge on the United States District Court for the Northern District of Alabama.
He was nominated by President Franklin D. Roosevelt on May 12, 1938, to a seat created by 52 Stat. 120. He was confirmed by the Senate on May 17th, and received commission on May 31st. He served until his death on September 5, 1945. Murphree was succeeded in this position by Seybourn Lynne.
