Roseann A. Ketchmark is a federal judge for the United States District Court for the Western District of Missouri. She was confirmed to the court on September 9, 2015.[1]

Prior to joining the court, she was an assistant United States attorney for the Western District of Missouri. On November 20, 2014, President Barack Obama nominated Ketchmark to the United States District Court for the Western District of Missouri.[2]

Education

Ketchmark earned her B.S. from the University of Oklahoma in 1986 and her J.D. from the University of Kansas School of Law in 1990.[2]

Roseann A. Ketchmark received nomination to the United States District Court for the Western District of Missouri by President Barack Obama on November 20, 2014. On the nomination:

The American Bar Association rated Ketchmark Substantial Majority Qualified, Minority Not Qualified for the nomination.[4]

Ketchmark's nomination was returned on December 31, 2014. She was renominated by President Barack Obama on January 7, 2015.[5]

The Senate Judiciary Committee held a hearing for Ketchmark's nomination on March 11, 2015.[6] Ketchmark was reported to the full Senate on April 23, 2015.[7]

The U.S. Senate confirmed Ketchmark on September 8, 2015, on a vote of 96-0.[1]
