Robert Morris Montgomery (1849-1920) was a federal judge on the United States Court of Customs Appeals, which later became the United States Court of Customs and Patent Appeals. He was also a justice of the Michigan Supreme Court.

Federal judicial service

Montgomery was nominated to the Court of Customs Appeals by President William Howard Taft. He was confirmed as presiding judge on March 30, 1910, and served in that capacity until his death on June 27, 1920.[1]
