Joseph Peter Kinneary (1905-2003) was a federal judge on the United States District Court for the Southern District of Ohio.

Kinneary was nominated by President Lyndon Johnson on June 28, 1966, to a seat vacated by Mell Underwood; he was confirmed by the Senate on July 22, 1966, and received commission that same day. He served as chief judge from 1973-1975. He assumed senior status on December 31, 1986, and served in that capacity until his death on February 14, 2003.[1]
