Henry Woods was a federal judge on the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Arkansas.[1]

Jimmy Carter nominated Woods on December 14, 1979, to a new seat created by 92 Stat. 1629. He was confirmed by the Senate on February 20, 1980, and received commission on February 20, 1980. Woods assumed senior status on March 1, 1995. His service terminated on March 14, 2002 when he died. Woods was succeeded in this position by James M. Moody Sr..
