Don Hogan
Don Hogan (Republican Party) was a member of the Georgia House of Representatives, representing District 179. He assumed office on January 9, 2017. He left office on January 9, 2023.
Hogan (Republican Party) ran for re-election to the Georgia House of Representatives to represent District 179. He won in the general election on November 3, 2020.
Biography
Don Hogan is from Saint Simons Island, Georgia. He grew up in Berrien County and attended Berrien County High School. He graduated from Georgia Southern University with a Bachelor of Science in business and continued his education at the University of Georgia, where he graduated with a master’s degree in education.[1]
Hogan's professional experience including working in the mental health field. He also was elected to two terms as a Glynn County commissioner, serving as both chairman and vice-chairman during his tenure. He has served as a vocational rehabilitation counselor, board member of the Golden Isles Chamber of Commerce, president of the Saint Simons Chamber of Commerce, area commissioner for Boy Scouts of America, and on an advisory council of the Coastal Area Planning and Developmental Commission.[2]
