Thomas Edwin "Tom" Mix (rođen kao Thomas Hezikiah Mix;^[1] 6. januar 1880 – 12. oktobar 1940) bio je američki filmski glumac, poznat kao prva zvijezda westerna, odnosno ličnost čiji su imidž i opus u mnogo čemu oblikovao hollywoodske "kanone" tog žanra.

Rodio se u Pensilvaniji kao sin konjušara, te je od mladosti zavolio konje i postao vješt jahač. Za vrijeme špansko-američkog rata 1898. se prijavio u vojsku i poslije služio u konjici, iako nije sudjelovao u borbama. Nakon što je napustio službu, neko vrijeme je radio kao kauboj, dodatno se uzdržavajući nastupima na jahačkim i streljačkim natjecanjima. Njegove vještine su privukle pažnju studija Selig Polyscope koji ga je 1909. prvo angažirao za dokumentarne filmove o životu kauboja, da bi ga potom učinio zvijezdom kratkih igranih filmova. Mix je brzo stekao popularnost, i postao jedna od prvih zvijezda mlade američke filmske industrije. Godine 1917. je potpisao ugovor sa studijem Fox Film Corporation koji je u losanđeleskom naselju Edendale kao kulisu njegovih filmova sagradio umjetni grad sa Divljeg Zapada poznat kao "Mixville". Mix, koji se prilično obogatio svojim nastupima, veliki dio svog bogatstva je izgubio u krahu njujorške burze, kao i zbog sklonosti ženama i alkoholu, te je bio prisiljen pod stare dane nastupati iako su ga mučile ozljede. Poginuo je u prometnoj nesreći.

Mix je usprkos toga ostao jedna od najvećih ikona američke popularne kulture u 20. vijeku, te se dan-danas na njega mogu pronaći brojne reference. Jedna od najpoznatijih je akciona komedija Sunset iz 1988. godine, koja prikazuje Mixovo prijateljstvo s Wyattom Earpom i gdje njegov lik tumači Bruce Willis.
