UPDATE, FRI, 9:30 AM: Newswatch learned the body, found in a street Thursday morning, is Dallas O'Rames. EPD's preliminary investigation indicates he was hit by a trash truck. The incident is likely an accident. No charges have been filed at this time.

Just another reminder to slow down in construction zones. Police are patrolling work zones, and if you get caught speeding in a construction zone, you could get double the usual fine.
| Standoff Ends Peacefully
UPDATE, THU, 6:00 AM: A man trying to end a dispute between some teenagers shoots a gun in the air. Police fire tear gas into the wrong home and discover he was hiding out nearby. After several hours, the standoff ended peacefully.
