Ediacarium
Ediacarium[1] est recentissimum systema stratigraphicum et periodus geologica aerae Neoproterozoicae et aeonis Proterozoici necnon superaeonis Praecambrii, secundum scalam temporis geologici Commissionis Internationalis Stratigraphicae.[2] Aevo Cryogenio finito, Ediacarium abhinc 635 milliones annorum incepit. Abhinc 541 milliones annorum finivit, aevo Cambrio incipiente.
Aevum Vendium iam antea propositum cum Ediacario partim confinit. Commutatio agronomica, quá biota substratum invadere, incolere, excavare coeperunt, iam aevo Ediacario accidisse constat.
